If this your first purchase, I was once like you. Haha. I saw the occasional "feels cheap" comments. I was slightly worried about quality with no way of knowing beyond comments. These are definitely in the realm those "tight" patriotic muscle shirts, hahaha, but not exactly. Those types of shirts definitely feel thin. I was happily surprised battle cats are actually a bit thicker. They are not heavyweight by any means, but not thin either. Fit... I usually can fit in a medium with most comfortable fit style shirts. When I'm not fat. Im 5'7" and usually around 170lbs, I can get away with medium. Right now I'm 190 and very happy I went Large. Its just lose enough that im not self conscious of the shirt clinging to my beer belly. And also gives the sleeves a bit of extra length and slightly lose as well. I hate short short sleeves and tight. So if your curious about fit, I hope this helps out.if you normally fit a medium with some wiggle room, you should be good. Go large if you're a short guy with a bit of belly and you'll be happy😃
